Origin
ASSAM-INDIA
Over the past 200 years, Assam has become the biggest tea-growing region in the world. Black Indian tea grows in the Dibrugarh district in tea gardens on the north side of the Brahmaputra River. Assam's tropical monsoon climate provides a perfect weather environment for tea production. The Assam tea leaves are perfumed and distinguished by many golden tips and offer a dark infusion that smells of fresh white bread with a lightly spiced and malted taste.
