A velvety, rich and full-bodied wine from Domaine de la Pierre. The Domaine is located in the sandy soil vineyards of Courthezon, the wine is from Grenache 90% and Syrah 10%, maturing for 12 months in concrete tanks, therefore no oak to show the purest expression of the Grenache and the complexity of the terroir. Thanks to its soil, its grape varieties and its traditional winemaking process, this wine from Domaine de La Pierre has a very supple tannic structure. In the mouth, it is velvety, rich and round. You will find liquorice flavours and spices coming from the Grenache. Powerful and full-bodied, it will age easily from 5 up to 8 years, but will also be enjoyed younger.

Cellier des Princes

The original cooperative winery of Cellier des Princes is formed of some 3,200 hectares of vineyards in southeastern France, established in 1925 by a unique group of specialized winegrowers and producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, AOC Côtes-du-Rhône & Côtes-du-Rhône Villages and IGP Vaucluse. The three dominant grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre with Grenache remaining the main grape at 90 – 95% of their blends for its roundness, ampleness and elegance with tannins that mellow with age to reveal delicious fruit flavours such as strawberry and notes of thyme and rosemary.
